Updated 30 April 2005 Online Membership Application Membership application is now online.  Members may choose to apply to subscribe to the Pediatric Radiology journal at the subsidised rate of USD$140 per year.  Please go to the Membership page for more information.    Updated 29 March 2005 Pediatric Radiology Journal The Pediatric Radiology journal is now the official journal of the AOSPR.  Full and Founding members can now subscribe to the journal at a special discounted rate of USD140.  In order to become a Full member to take advantage of this offer, interested parties can download the Full member application form below.  Forms are to be completed and sent to their respective country representatives.  Do not send any payment until you are asked to do so by the Secretary of the AOSPR. Updated 18 March 2005 6th Annual AOSPR Scientific meeting 2005 The venue of the above meeting will be at the Nai Lert Swissotel Hotel at 2 Wireless Road, Bangkok.  The hotel is now part of the Raffles International group of hotels and is a beautiful venue.  For more information, please visit the hotel website at http://bangkok-nailertpark.swissotel.com/  Updated 7 February 2005 6th Annual AOSPR Scientific meeting 2005 The website for the above meeting is now up.  Please click http://www.aospr2005.org/ to view the website.    Updated 27 October 2004 5th Annual AOSPR Scientific meeting 2004 The recently concluded 5th AOSPR annual meeting in Beijing from October 21-23 was a huge success.  Guest speakers included Lane Donnelly and Marilyn Siegel from the USA.  Next years meeting will be in Bangkok from November 3-5.  Please go to the meetings page for further information.  Pediatric Radiology: Official Journal of the AOSPR From January 2005, the Pediatric Radiology journal will be the official organ of the AOSPR.  Members of the AOSPR can subscribe to the journal at subsidised rates.  More details will be available here in due course.  Annual Fees for Full Members At the recent Board of Directors meeting in Beijing on October 20, 2004, it was decided that a USD10 annual fee be imposed on Full members of the society.  This fee is waived for the first year where there will be an entrance fee of USD 10.  Benefits of membership include: 1.  Subsidised subscription rate to Pediatric Radiology journal 2.  Discount to AOSPR annual meeting registration fee Updated 16 February 2004 5th Annual AOSPR Scientific meeting 2004 The website for the AOSPR annual meeting in Beijing in September is now online at www.aospr2004.org.  Detailed information regarding the meeting is now available on that website.   Updated 14 October 2003 4th Annual AOSPR Scientific meeting 2004 The recently concluded AOSPR meeting was held in Seoul from September 24 to 26, 2003.  It was a successful meeting which was excellently organised by the Korean Society of Pediatric Radiology.      Welcome The Asian and Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology (AOSPR) is a confederation of existing Paediatric Radiology societies in Asian and Oceanic region. The AOSPR is dedicated to the promotion of Paediatric Radiology in the Asia-Oceanic region through coorperative research, teaching and education. The society also aims to establish close ties with other regional Paediatric Radiology societies such as the Society for Paediatric Radiology (SPR), European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR), Sociedad Latino Americana de Radiologia Pediatrica (SLARP) and the Australian New Zealand Society for Paediatric Radiology (ANZSPR). By close cooperation with these societies and dedication towards education and research, the AOSPR hopes to achieve its aim of improving healthcare standards in the imaging of children. Membership requirements for the AOSPR The requirements for membership are as follows: Associate Members 1. All members of their country's Paediatric Radiology society are entitled to be Associate Members of the AOSPR. 2. Associate Members will be classified as Radiological Associate Members, Clinical Associate Members or Other Associate Members. 3. Associate Members will not have voting rights. Full members 1. Full Membership of the AOSPR is open to all radiologists with an active interest in pediatric radiology. 2. Full members will be accorded voting rights. 3. Application for Full Membership must be made in writing to the admission committee and approved by the Board.
